Summer is almost here— its time to get in
shape!
College is hard on many levels…school,
homework, extracurricular activities, sorority life, and keeping off the
Freshman 15. By the way if you think you dodged the Freshman 15 it also exists
for sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
The past few weeks, I have been hitting the
gym, trying to get in shape for summer. A little running and doing as many
crunches as I can before I feel like dying is about all I can do right now…keep
reading for some of my favorite things to keep me in shape!
My workout routine…
30-45
minutes of running
Crunches
(as many as I can)
20
Twist crunches with a 6-pound ball
40
Bicycle crunches
Stretch!!
Favorite Athletic Wear…
Any pair of Nike
running pants are great, but here is a pair that is a little less expensive
than most.
Also
great for class!
It is best to go
to a running store where they can fit shoes to your feet and your
running/walking style. These fit me best! They have great support and come in
awesome colors.
Perfect
for Texas weather! A light layer for running.
Music…
For running and
workout music I usually like to use the app 8 Tracks. It has playlists for
every mood! I like to look up different workout and running playlists in the
search bar.
After my workout I
usually like to stretch a little and listen to a yoga playlist on 8 Tracks.
Obviously I’m no expert when it comes to
fitness or health, but these are just some of my favorite things and things
that I have found to work for me. I hope you try some of these out and enjoy!!
Great article! I liked that you used pictures to give a visual example and make it more interesting for the reader!
ReplyDeleteThese are some great tips! Thank you for the links. It makes it super easy to find the products. I need to try out your tips so I can get rid of the junior 15...
ReplyDeleteI love this blog post! This blog is exciting to read and I relate to it because I workout too and I listen to 8tracks when I workout!
ReplyDeleteThis was great, I have never heard of 8 tracks (I know right, keep up with apps).
ReplyDeleteThis was really helpful! especially because I love to work out!
ReplyDeleteI like how you added pictures of each thing so people know what to look for! Also this is something that I could implement in my daily life. You talked about something very feasible that people could easily do, which is great!
