Kirstina Jurovich

 1.       Unique Study Abroad Trips
The John V. Roach Honors College offers exclusive trips for honors students every summer. On these trips, students are not just tourists, they have the unique opportunity to engage with and participate in various cultures from all over the world. Students will earn class credit while backpacking across Europe to places such as Germany, Italy and Switzerland. How much better can it get?  For more info about these trips visit: http://honors.tcu.edu/honors-abroad.asp

2.        Scholarship Opportunities

Honors College students can apply for certain grants and scholarships. If a prestigious scholarship such as the Fulbright scholarship is more along the lines of what you are looking for, then John V. Roach Honors College can help with those applications as well. In fact, six students that graduated last May from the John V. Roach Honors College were awarded Fulbright Scholarships.  Honors Students can receive guidance for applying to the Fulbright scholarship and other Prestigious Scholarships as well.

3.       Milton Daniel- AKA the closest you can get to living in Hogwarts at TCU (but really)
Harry Potter fans rejoice! Only a few lucky Honors College students get sorted into the house of Milton Daniel! In the past, those living in Milton Daniel had the chance to dance the night away at the hall’s very own Yule Ball. Don’t worry non Harry Potter fans, the muggles still had a great time too. Freshman from all the way up to seniors can live in Milton Daniel, so you are very likely to find an upperclassman that can help you study for that test, or give you advice about a class they have taken. This this dorm is conveniently located right behind the rec center and is a short walk away from places to eat on campus.

4.       Once an Honors Student Always an Honors Student
